Master Website Header & Footer option.

Is there a way to add a global / master website feature to build one header and footer for the website, that allows us, users, have the ability to create one header and footer, that gets broadcasts to all our website pages. So, when we want to make a change, it's not a huge task of going into each individual page to make one change.
Right now I have to build one master page, then duplicate it to have the same look on each page.
But then after making ten pages, I realized I needed to add one more text line in the footer which was a terms and conditions text, with a link, well that required going into every page and updating each one.
This is a standard feature on every website I have ever built in the past. I posted an image from the control panel on my bold grid website, I am transitioning form. As you can see there are options to set up the main look and feel of the website in one area. Then when you get to the pages, it's mostly just the content portion, I don't have to rebuild the header or footer on each page directly, as they are in the master plan.
This would be extremely helpful and almost going to be expected by anyone purchasing this platform.

Definitely need this! Every time I make a change to the header/footer I have to edit every single page. It's such a time waster.

I agree, this is an expected feature.

any news about this?

Totally agree! A core element template that can easily be added to subsequent pages. One change, updates them all instantaneously.

Master Headers, Footers and NAV bars are ESSENTIAL basic website programming. We NEED THIS ONE DONE.

Just adding the option to edit saved blocks would be nice. Master header and footer is a must have option. Voted!

I've been waiting for this option for awhile. What would be nice is if the default page (like Wordpress) had a header and footer. In this way, any change in the footer on one page, would be followed through on every other. The header essentially works that way, but the footer doesn't. So, as Brodi mentioned, if you want to change a link or add a page to a footer, you have to go to EVERY PAGE and make that same change. UGH! The better option would be to choose when you don't want a header and footer (like an opt in page) and then not add the header and footer vs. the way it's currently designed.
